The SILS-series with fast pulse group control is best for power controlling mediumwave and also shortwave IR-modules. This principle allows a simple construction and is therefore a low-cost alternative to a phase angle contol (Type PLS). Through the extra fast pulse string the often annoying flimmer effect is nearly eliminated.
